Sean Connery: Actor who brought James Bond on screen for the first time passed away

Actor Sir Sean Connery, who was famous for playing James Bond, died at the age of 90.  He was the first actor to bring James Bond to the big screen.  He played this character in seven films.



 He continued to rule the film screen for decades.  In 1998, he was given the Oscar Award for a film called The Untouchables.

 In many polls, Sir Sean Connery was described as the 'best actor' to play James Bond.



In the year 2000, he was awarded the title of Knighthood.


 He was also a supporter of Scottish independence.  In an interview in 2014, he said that if Scotland votes to separate from Britain, he will leave his home in the Bahamas and return to Scotland.


 Scotland's First Minister Nicola Stergian said, "I am heartbroken to hear the news of Sir Sean Connery's demise this morning. Our country is in sorrow for the death of our dearest son."







Delhi covid 19


 Despite the Delhi government's denial that the 'third wave' of covid-19 has not arrived in the country's capital, for the last two days, the highest number of infections have been reported so far.


 While 5673 cases were registered on Wednesday, the figure reached 5729 on Thursday.  5891 new cases were reported on Friday.


 This is the highest number of corona virus infections ever recorded in Delhi on a single day.


 The number of people who died of corona infection in Delhi has also reached 6423.


With increasing cases, the 'positivity rate' of infection in Delhi has also gone up to 9.55, while the number of infected people in the country's capital has reached 3.75 lakh so far.


Meanwhile, if we talk about medical facilities, then one hospital has reduced in the hospitals identified for treatment of covid-19, while cases are increasing day by day.
