Kangana accused of spreading communal hatred, court orders FIR

 A Mumbai court has ordered film actress Kangana Ranaut to file an FIR on charges of spreading communalism.




 Kangana tweeted on this, "Meanwhile, another FIR has been lodged against me, Pappu army in Maharashtra seems to have gone mad after me, don't miss me so much, I will be there soon."


 A complainant named Munawwar Ali accused Kangana and her sister Rangoli of spreading communal hatred in the society by filing a petition in the court and demanding an FIR to be filed against them.


 A magistrate court in Bandra, finding the allegations leveled against Kangana and her sister prima facie, has ordered an FIR to be filed against them.


Munawar Ali, who works as casting director, had demanded a case against Kangana under various sections of the IPC.

Magistrate Jaydev Ghule said in his order, "After listening to the advocate and looking at the documents presented together, prima facie I feel that the accused has committed a cognizable offense".


 Ballia massacre: accused out of hold, reward of 50 thousand declared


UP police has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each on the six accused in the case of murder in the presence of SDM and police officer in a quota of ration in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia.


 A spokesman for the Ballia police told the BBC, "Out of the total eight accused named in connection with the incident, two have been arrested so far while six are absconding. A reward of Rs 50,000 each has been declared on the absconding accused."  "


 According to the police, local BJP MLA Surendra Singh has threatened to protest against the accused for not writing an FIR against the victim.


 Chief accused Dhirendra Pratap Singh is close to BJP leader and local MLA Surendra Singh.  Ever since the incident, Surendra Singh has been making statements in support of the accused party.
