Chinese engineers lift 7600 ton building and place second

In Shanghai, China, engineers have shown the ability to move a huge 7,600-ton building from its place to another location.

He picked up the five-story building of LaGena Elementary School in Shanghai, built in 1935, and moved it some distance using technology.

According to the local administration, work on a new project is to start near this old building, for which it was decided to move the building out of its place when it gets a little bit.

Chinese engineers also had the option to demolish this building, but they decided to lift this historic building from its place and shift it to another place.

The building was moved approximately 62 meters from the original site

According to the Chinese government media, a team of engineers raised the building with the help of technology and with 198 robotic legs moved it away.

According to local media, this thousands-ton concrete building has been moved about 62 meters from its original location.

According to the CCTV news network controlled by the Chinese government, the work of shifting the building from one place to another was completed in 18 days.  It is reported that on October 15, the work of shifting the building was completed.

According to the news agency, the local administration has now decided to preserve this historic building and in the same way repair work is being done.

There are many ways to shift buildings from one place to another, but usually engineers shift buildings with the help of large platforms which are pulled by high capacity rails or cranes.

But this time the Chinese engineers used robotic legs (strong controlled by robots) which had wheels underneath.  This method has been adopted by Chinese engineers for the first time.

However, the thing to note is that Shanghai engineers have the old experience of shifting buildings in this way.

In 2017, the historic Buddhist temple, built 135 years ago and weighing around two thousand tons, was moved about 30 meters from its original place and it took 15 days to move the temple 30 meters.

Earlier this year also, Chinese engineers had set a record in the field of building construction.  After rapidly spreading the corona infection in Wuhan city of Hubei province of China, Chinese engineers had shown a hospital with a thousand beds in ten days.  Wuhan is the same city where Covid-19 infection was first officially confirmed.

. Google's new plan released in UK, US and Spain   The tech giant says it is incorporating new technology into the cable, which they claim is a significant upgrade to the old existing line.   The project is completed by 2022.   Google estimates that underwater data cables are important for global communications, which contain about 98% of the world's information.   Cables are usually made by telecommunications companies - usually a group of them pulling sources - which are then charged to use other companies.  The latest cable, called "Grace Ha Ce Par", after the American computer scientist and Admiral behind the Navy, will hit the UK at Bude in Cornwall.  It is Google's fourth privately owned undersea cable  But Google needs "increasing amounts of transatlantic bandwidth," said John Delaney, a telecommus analyst at IDC.   “Creating its own cables helps them choose the best cable route,” he said, and is close to d...
