The Indian actress, one of the most famous faces of former Miss World and Bollywood, left Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Monday with her daughter Aaradhya.
Her husband Abhishek Bachchan tweeted and thanked people for their "continuous prayers and wishes".
He and his father Amitabh Bachchan are also famous actors, staying in the hospital.
Both were hospitalized earlier this month after testing positive for coronavirus.
Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his daughter Aadhya whose report came negative and is now at stay home. My father and I remain in the hospital under the supervision of the medical staff."
Local news agency ANI tweeted footage of the mother and daughter leaving the hospital after being discharged.
However, Indian fans will not rest until the whole family returns home.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, 77, who has gained global fame during his long and illustrious career, tweeted that he had tested positive for the virus on 12 July.
On the same day, another series of tweets from his son Abhishek confirmed that he, his 46-year-old wife Aishwarya and eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya had also tested positive.
Since winning the crown of Miss World in 1994, Aishwarya has become a highly successful model and several award-winning Bollywood actresses. Indians also consider him as a true blue celebrity who has made India proud in the global arena.
Thousands of Indians are praying for his recovery.
Jaya Bachchan, a famous actress and wife of Amitabh Bachchan, also tested negative.

On Monday, India recorded a new high of around 50,000 new coronovirus cases in 24 hours, taking the country's total caseload to 1.4m.
India is the third most infected country in the world with coronavirus infection. The same is true of the United States and Brazil More than 30,000 people have died.
The western state of Maharashtra, where Mumbai is located, is still the most hotspot, with more than 375,000 cases among all states.
