Priyanka Radhakrishnan became minister in New Zealand's Jasinda Ardern Cabinet

 New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has made Priyanka Radhakrishnan of Indian origin a minister.  This is the first time that a person of Indian origin has reached this position in New Zealand.


 Jacinda Ardern has added five new ministers to her cabinet, including Priyanka Radhakrishnan.


 The English newspaper The Hindu has published this news of news agency PTI prominently on the 11th page.  Priyanka, 41, is the leader of the ruling Labor Party in New Zealand.    After becoming a minister in his government, many things are coming to mind.


   After this, she went to New Zealand for further studies.


Priyanka became the voice of those people in New Zealand, for whom the fight for justice is very challenging.  He has worked for the rights of women being harassed in domestic violence and exploited migrant laborers.



In September 2017, Priyanka was elected a first-time MP from the Labor Party.  In 2019, he was made Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Ethnic Community Minister.


 Priyanka reached the position of minister on the basis of her work on this role.  He has been made the minister of the Department of Diversity, Inclusive and Racial Communities.  Apart from this, he is also responsible for social development and employment.


 The New Zealand Herald newspaper has written that Priyanka is the first Kiwi minister of Indian origin.  She lives in Auckland with her husband.


 Announcing Priyanka's name, Prime Minister Jasinda Ardern said, "I am delighted to include new talent in the cabinet.  He has done a lot of work for the ministry that has been given to him.


 Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has congratulated Priyanka on Twitter.  In his congratulatory message, Tharoor wrote, "Congratulations to Priyanka on becoming a minister of Indian origin for the first time in New Zealand."  This is a moment of pride for Kerala.
