Why do you want to change the presidential election in America?



 Republican lawmakers in the US have rejected President Donald Trump's suggestion to postpone the presidential election in November.

 Trump had said that elections should be postponed in view of the possibility of rigging in postal voting.

 Trump's suggestion was rejected by Mitch McConnell, the leader of the Senate, the upper house of the US Parliament, and party leader Kevin McCarthy in the lower house.

 He said that Trump had no right to postpone the election as any delay or postponement of the election required parliament's approval.

 Trump had said that more postal voting could lead to wrong results.
Trump had said that elections should be postponed until people can vote in the right way and safely.

 Although there is no evidence to know the truth of what Trump has said, he has always opposed postal voting because according to him there is a possibility of rigging.

 In view of health concerns caused by the Corona epidemic, US states want voting to be made easier through mail.

 Trump's suggestion has come at a time when the American economy has reached a worse state than the Great Depression of the 1930s.

 Senator McConnell said that never before has a US presidential election been postponed.



 McCarthy also supported him saying, "Never in history have we postponed elections, so we should proceed in the same way for this election."

 Trump's supporter MP Lindsey Graham also said that delaying the election was not the right idea.

 But Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo tried to avoid this and when reporters asked him if the President could postpone the election, the Foreign Minister said that he did not want to get into any legal decision.

 Hogan Gidley, a spokesman for Trump's election campaign, said Trump was just asking a question.
During a press briefing at the White House on Thursday, Trump denied that he wanted to postpone the election, but said that mass postal voting would result in doubt.
Trump said, "I don't want to delay the election, I want the election to happen. But I also don't want to wait for three months and then know that all the ballot papers are missing and the election has no meaning again."  Will be left. "

 Trump tweeted several and said that postal voting will increase the risk of foreign interference.  However, he did not give any proof of how this would happen.

 In June, New York allowed voters to use a postal ballot in the primary election for the party's presidential candidacy.  But counting of postal ballot takes a lot of time and its results are not known till date.

 According to the American media, some people are also worried that some of the ballot papers will not be counted because they will not be filled properly or there will be no postmarks to show that before the official elections are over  Postal ballot was sent.

 According to the Washington Post, US Postal Service officials say that there may be difficulty in sending a postal ballot in time for elections in November because the Trump administration has cut costs in many cases.
